Happy Thanksgiving to all of our supporters! “Then the people rejoiced because they had given willingly, for with a whole heart they had offered freely to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly. Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is
yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.” 1 Chronicles 29:9-13 These are some of the words that King David prayed in the assembly when he accepted the donations of the people to build God’s temple. He praised God in humbleness giving Him thanks for what He had done. The Hope First Family Resource Center board of directors also desires to give God the praise and glory for all that He has done to build Hope First:
- Providing the building through the generosity of a family.
- Providing the renovation, the furnishings and equipment through the generosity of individuals, churches and businesses and the dedicated work of skilled volunteers.
- Providing the training for the advocates and mentors He has called, who have studied, prayed, read and watched a lot of hours of video
classes in preparation to meet the needs of people He brings seeking help.
- Providing the willing hands of those He has called to process the donations for the Hope Exchange (our store) in the Donation Station where they clean and inspect baby equipment, launder and fold, hang and display items generously donated.
- Providing a prayer team that weekly surrounds the center (literally, as they walk around the building) with prayer.
- Providing a fundraising team and participants who recently inaugurated the first Annual Hope First FRC Pickleball Tournament.
- Now, He is providing the clients: the people He desires us to serve so that they might be encouraged in their struggle and transformed by His grace, mercy and love!

Hope First Current Needs: Board of Directors and Governing Board- We continue to seek volunteers and individuals who want to be a part of our board of directors or our governing board. Prayer Requests and Praises Pray for our future clients and families who will walk through our doors. Pray for our team as we continue to get closer to opening. Pray that the technology will sync and we can have everything working the way we need it to. Pray for our Board of Directors to have the perseverance to continue to follow God’s leading as He guides us in every way. We PRAISE God for those joining our board,
partnering with our center, praying for us, and spreading the word. We are so very thankful! We are looking forward to hiring our first staff member in January of 2025 and working towards raising more funds to hire the staff
necessary to provide medical services in our medical suite.
