Summer Updates!
We are humbled and very excited to announce that we have closed on a building for Hope First Family Resource Center! We were able to purchase the building through a generous grant from the Hegel Family Foundation. First and foremost, thank you to the Hegel family for helping provide a space that Hope First can call home. We have seen first hand how God is working and moving through those who support us. We are
incredibly thankful!
The building fits our needs in more ways than one! We will have enough space for meeting with clients, providing ultrasounds, parenting classes, a "store" for our families to get the gear they need, our fatherhood program, counseling, and much more. We were seeking a place that was close to a main highway and bus line, but also had privacy for our clients. This space does just that and is exactly what we had hoped
and prayed for!
Our next step is preparing the building for serving the community. We are focusing on making it a comfortable and welcoming place for our clients. We will be landscaping out front, making some repairs and changes indoors, purchasing the equipment and furniture we need, and more. We are able to do this through the many individuals who are faithfully donating. Your support is very appreciated.
Through donations and prayer, we continue to keep things moving toward the day we can fully open our doors. If you would like to join us in this, please see the donation links at the bottom of the newsletter!

Donation/Fundraising Information
A couple of months ago, we let our supporters know that we had joined the Amazon Smile program as a way to raise funds. It has since been brought to our attention that Amazon has come out in strong support of abortion in light of the Roe v Wade debate going on nationwide right now. Here at Hope First, we know we will encounter this- working with a vendor or organization
that does not always share our views and values. We are committed to always showing grace and compassion no matter what. There will be times we will work with those differences. But there will also be times we will respectfully choose to step away from something that we feel conflicts with our mission. For that reason, we have chosen to no longer participate in Amazon Smile as a way to raise money for Hope First Family Resource Center. The good news is that there will
be many other wonderful opportunities to raise awareness and support for our center to come in the future! If you did choose to sign up for Amazon Smile in support of us- thank you for being willing to stand with us and support in all the big and small ways! We are still continuing with the Kings Soopers Community Reward program as a way to earn money back from purchases, which is a local option! We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

If you are here in Colorado, and have a Kings Soopers grocery card, you can link your card to Hope First and we will receive a percentage back when you shop! To link a card, you can log into your account at www.kingsoopers.com. Go to “My Account” under your name on the top right. Click on Community Rewards on the left navigation. Prayer Requests and Praises
Pray as we seek a center director and an admin to staff our center.
Pray for those considering joining our team in a medical capacity.
Pray that God will move in the hearts of those who would become board members.
Pray for our Board of Directors to have the perseverance to continue to follow God’s leading as He guides us in every way!
