Thank you for your prayers and continued support!

We sent out an update at the end of January to let everyone know that Hope First Family Resource Center is officially a tax exempt public charity. After many months of praying and waiting, we are thrilled to share that news!

Our next steps have included getting our website and donation link set up. The website is still in progress. We hope to be able to share that with you very soon! Meanwhile, our donation link is ready to go! Here is the link:

Many people have asked what is the best way to donate, and with this step completed, we can easily share our donation link with those who would like to join us on this journey financially.

With each step, we are reminded of God's faithfulness and are overjoyed as we continue to move forward.

Encouragement for these Times

For many, the start of 2022 has been filled with hardships, tragedy, frustrations, and uncertainty.

We pray for those impacted by the Colorado wildfires at the start of the year.

We pray for those in Ukraine, who are experiencing such tragedy and loss.

We pray for those battling illnesses and medical complications.

We pray for those struggling with finances and worrying about the future.

And here at Hope First, we are continually praying for the mothers and families who are facing unexpected pregnancies. We pray for their hearts as they face difficult decisions and uncertainty of where to turn for support.

Right now, in Colorado, we are keeping a close eye as the HB22-1279 Reproductive Health Equity Act progresses through the Colorado House and soon to be Senate. We know that no matter the outcome of this vote, our work continues and will be more important than ever. We strive to exist as a place of hope and life for the mothers and fathers facing these difficult times. Please take a moment to research this pro-choice bill and pray for our leaders.

But even in these hard moments, we choose to trust in our Lord and praise our God! We see what is going on in the world and what people are facing, and we can only fall on our knees to pray and ask that the Lord will sustain and guide them. We are reminded of this Bible verse:

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body."

- 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

If 2022 has been a hard year for you so far, or if you are feeling the weight of the tragedy in the world, take HOPE. We remember the God we serve and we press on. Join us as we pray for one another, Hope First Family Resource Center, Colorado, our country, the world, our leaders, and for all the families who need guidance and hope in 2022.

Prayer Requests and Praises

Pray that we would find the perfect location/building space to house the center.

Pray for those considering joining our team in a medical capacity.

Pray that God will move in the hearts of those who would become board members.

Pray for our Board of Directors to have the perseverance to continue to follow God’s leading as He guides us in every way!

We PRAISE God for those joining our board, partnering with our center, praying for us, and spreading the word. We are so very thankful!

We PRAISE God for continuing to guide our steps and show us what is next for Hope First Family Resource Center!

We PRAISE God that our application to be a tax exempt charity was approved!
